Yassine is eleven and he lives in Sfax. Last month, he ate a lot of sweets and doughnuts, and he drank fizzy drinks every day. He never ate fruit or vegetables. One night, he had a terrible toothache and he couldn’t sleep.

The next morning, his mother took him to the dentist. Doctor Amel looked at his teeth and said, ‘You must brush your teeth twice a day. You mustn’t eat sweets every day. You should eat fruit, vegetables and fish.’ Yassine listened carefully and promised to change his habits.

Now Yassine eats an apple or an orange after school, and he drinks lots of water. On Saturdays, he goes swimming with his cousin Malek. Yesterday, his little sister wanted some chocolate, but Yassine gave her a banana! He feels fit and happy, and his smile is beautiful again.

A model paragraph to compare with (after writing mine)

Kais, you are often tired because you don’t eat well. You should eat fruit and vegetables every day, like apples, carrots and tomatoes. You should also eat fish and eggs, and drink lots of water. You shouldn’t eat chips and sweets every day, and you mustn’t drink fizzy drinks: they are bad for your teeth. You can play football with me on Sundays or go swimming in summer. Sport keeps us fit and strong. If you follow my advice, you will feel healthy and happy!

One good example among many: compare, don’t copy.
